Fall Family Portraits


In the Atlanta area, the spring and especially the fall time are undoubtedly the best for outdoor family portraits. Temperatures are mild, and foliage provides beautiful colors for backgrounds.

Our favorite outdoor portrait location is the large campus of Berry College in Rome, GA. This place gives us the opportunity to photograph on various nice spots anytime during the day.

For the featured session we used an extended portrait setting of a wonderful family with three children. The assignment was to make enough portraits to create an exclusive coffee table book reflecting not only how the family members looked, but also striving to go beyond the appearance of a traditional portrait, which is simply difficult to describe. We hope that we captured at least the feelings of family members while being together.
