Sara and Slava Slavik

Slava Slavik Photography is a family portrait and wedding photography studio run by Slava and Sara Slavik. We both were born in the Czech Republic and came to the United States in May 2004, and our photography studio was opened several months later. However, our photography careers started a long time ago. Slava co-founded and managed for ten years the biggest graphics and digital photography software company in Central Europe, and Sara worked as a freelance graphics designer. Besides our former jobs, we started making portraits for our friends and photographed weddings just for fun and realized that one day we would like to run a professional photography studio together. Our dreams came true right after we moved to the USA.
We received most of our photography education here. We successfully completed several photography classes at our local university and made a great leap in our career after joining the Professional Photographers of America Association.
Also, several professional photographers have helped us to shape our photography skills. We would like to mention three of them. Slava received comprehensive training in child photography from the acclaimed children and family photographer in Augusta, GA, Michael O'Byrne. We both received great help regarding studio portraits and operating the studio from the photography business veteran Roger Berg. Since May 2006, we have been intensively cooperating and receiving tremendous and invaluable help from premium Atlanta wedding photographer Craig Willes.
